17 year old granddaughter did my shopping today. She really did well but I asked for 2 bananas. She got me two bags about 12 bananas. Apart from banana icecream which I love but OH doesn't. I don't know what to do with them all. We do have one each a week on top of a bowl of cereal.
Any ideas what I can do with them.

Put them on the compost. imho only good thing you can do with bananas.
glad you didn't say put compost on them as i prefer custard
Like many others here I eat one or two everyday.

Our favourite lunch time sandwich is brie or cambozola with sliced banana on - heavenly.
>Put them on the compost.
The skins don't decompose.

Baked bananas with sugar or syrup/honey on are lovely.
We mash them on porridge too and use them in smoothies
FF the skins don't decompose. Why not? Slice them open and leave them for the wasps or whatever else wants them. I'm sure badgers eat them as they seem to eat everything else or else give them to a pig farm.
Smoothie is good idea.
Or eat the skin- I now someone who doesn't peel bananas or oranges
Skins do compost if you slice them up.
No way am I going to touch them. If I get them for OH I always get an assistant to bag them for me. If they don't want to then I don't buy them.
Bung them in the oven til black then have them with chocolate sauce and cream/ice cream.
Flambe them and serve with ice cream.
