I think that that the photo was staged, all looks a bit to neat.
Supermarkets need to sell smaller portions.

When I was a kid I remember my mum buying half a lettuce half a swede, loose spuds from a bag...etc

The only only food I tend to throw out is lettuce and cucumber.
Maybe this is where they stored their panic buying stuff cause we have all heard of food bins ain’t we .
It's fake news intended to spark outrage.

There's enough distressing news coming in during this pandemic without fabricated bull like this.
I read an article ( sorry can’t post it) . The local refuse depot reported a 40% rise is food bin emptying, all out of date fresh food. Shame on anyone panic buying and stock piling drugs these last few weeks/ months. Very selfish people. Leaving vulnerable people unable to access basic necessities .
