Busy Bees

All my neighbours are painting their doors, washing their backyards - it is great to see - all within social distancing.

I am decluttering myself - well putting deodorant with deodorant, shampoos - everything all in its place.

Nice day for it too.

Just chopped some large bushes down from round our oil tank. Just have to do something with the mountain of waste now. Beautiful day for it.

He’s been cleaning the tiles in the bathroom whilst I’ve stripped the beds and hoovered the mattresses and bathed Scruffy (Lola) she was supposed to get groomed tomorrow, now cancelled

Took 2 days to declutter and clean my kitchen worktops (I'm limiting myself to stretch out housework.... also I hate doing it!)and today I washed the kitchen floor and got at least the top layer off - it looks a lot better and I'll get down and mean with a scrubbing brush on the stubborn bits tomorrow. On the other hand, my Sweet Pea seeds have sprouted! :)

Nice day, also, for hanging out the laundry. (Cheaper than using the dryer in the kitchen!)

My OH is really ill so only downstairs has been cleaned.

I've made a big pan of stew for later. I know it's usually a heartwarming dish for a winter's day, but it's comfort food and we all need a bit of that these days.
