They were at a marina called Napton in Warwickshire. This brought back memories of when we had a boat on the canals. We went to Napton. Went through the lock and got stuck. The boat was too tall. We were wedged.
OH had to saw off part of the roof of the boat to set us free. Happy days!
We loved our times on boats in UK and in France.
Tried to recreate it a few years back. Hired a boat in Brittany. Shouldn't have done it. We were absolutely knackered. All the jumping on and off. Locks, mooring etc. Came home early. Such a shame but never again.
