Sim Card Query

I have just taken delivery of a new iPhone 6 but there is no SIM card with it. Should there be ? If not and I transfer my old one will I lose all my photo’s etc ? I wanted to do that thing where you can get your new phone to be identical to the old one. Can I still do it ? Confused.com !!! TIA

Your SIM is your connection to your provider. You would only expect a new one if you were getting a new number. You can clone your phone with a free app from the app store.

You bought a handset not a service.

You may, probably can, transfer your present SIM card to it, but the photos etc. are likely to be stored on the handset not the SIM card. You need a way to transfer the data. I'm unfamiliar with iStuff but suspect you can add a memory card to copy to, transfer, then copy from.
Well, new iPhones do not have a SIM card with it, only if you were buying an under contract iPhone. Contact your carrier to buy a new SIM card or change your old SIM to the one that can fit in your new iPhone 6.

And yes, you can have all your photos and stuffs transferred to iPhone 6. But what is your old phone model? I would recommend iCloud for iPhone to iPhone data transfer.
