There are two on this sheep farm we’re staying on, both fancypants ones for hire.
I assume they have at the very least a toilet, maybe even a shower, although looking at them from a distance I can’t really imagine how even a small bathroom could fit in. Or where any plumbing might come or go. Both are on a rocky outcrop, in the middle of a field, quite a way from the farmhouse.
Anyone ever stayed in one?
Actually, they look like very luxurious touring caravans, and some of them are really tiny but have everything you need.
I suppose it’s because they just look like a wooden hut on wheels they appear very basic.
Thanks bookbinder.
I've never stayed in one, but I've seen them on tv, and they all seem to be very nice and comfortable, as long as you don't mind the 'basic' style. Getting close to the countryside, I suppose you could call it.
The ones we have had involvement with have most things you need...small kitchen area with microwave/oven/dishwasher,etc...shower room/toilet/basin,etc..a fold down double bed..heating..internet connection..picnic benches outside..decent views.
I've always thought they look extremely small and quite cramped. But I have to remember that a person who lives in a very urban environment is more likely to appreciate an away from it all, cosy little place in the middle of nowhere.
