I haven't anything to moan about, am not going to go looking for something.

That would be silly.
people who throw empty drinks cans, plastic bottles
glass bottles, etc ,etc, etc. in the road.
we should have a deposit on all these items.
in Denmark you won't find this sort of litter ,people who are skint go out and collect this stuff and take it to the local super market and put it through a machine
which recognises all the different items and prints out the deposit due and prints a voucher or churns out cash to the value of total deposit.
Great attitude Rowanwitch. I wish you well with your painting and may it bring you great satisfaction and peace x

@14.41 been saying this for a long time, put a price on it and you won't see it for dust, and would work out a lot cheaper than any council having to collect it.
I'm sure its only a matter of time before someone sees some suspicous looking Muslims somewhere. Or start picking on some diseased Chinese folk.

Perosonally, I'm peeved that Spurs still haven't bought a striker.

Until last year I would have said "bad luck", Theland. But I went there last year to see some of Mrs NJ's relatives and I have to say it's not at all bad. They took us on a guided tour of Liverpool (both ex Liverpool police officers, so know the patch) and I was amazed at how the dock area had been transformed. Much better than London's Docklands (which has nothing to see except office blocks). We're visiting again later this year and plan an outing to Chester.
