In the Express today is this announcement.
Arts Council England has decided to do away with the word "artist" and replace it with "creative practitioner"
Also "Art" is to be replaced with "creative Content"
There is no mention as to why they have done this.
Any ideas folks?

They can't draw.
It's probably because most artists these days don't produce anything that could remotely be described as art.
