thanks for sharing your excitement. Hope she does well for herself. She has a nice sister
How fantastic for her to have got what she wanted and to have such a lovely sister too!
Aww, huge congrats to your sis!! How's she celebrating?

What a sweet sis she's got too x
I went to Hallam for a couple of months. The course I was on wasn't for me but the city, the uni and the people are so fab! I would move to Sheffield tomorrow if my family would come with me. Congrats claireyfairy's sis xx
I did Criminology, a good few years ago now, it was an excellent degree choice. She will love it!!
Easier than getting a job, I suppose?
Ditto Miss Inquiry... i did Psychology and Criminolgy (never felt brainy enough to do Law!) so a very good choice!

Congrats to your sis!

(Ignore naz... he is a bit of a moaning type.)

Thanks all, she's celebrating by going out and getting sloshed with all her mates tonight, although all she wants to do is sleep cos the poor thing is full of cold (ooh, that reminds me I should warn her about freshers flu!)
your sister is a star its nice you are so happy for her
Wish her all the best from me!
xxx
The cost of her degree will stand her in good stead for understanding criminal behaviour and extortion... ;)
I did my Physiotherapy degree at Sheffield Hallam, brilliant place and city to go to. Friendly people, and I got completely spooked initially by the fact that bus drivers would stop and let a cyclist out at a junction (they don't do that down south). Tell her to go to the Leadmill nightclub, not in the least bit posh (no dress code) and a cracking regular sixties/seventies night.
Went back to Sheffield to run the half marathon in May, and it was great to run around some of the old haunts, and people were as wonderful as ever.
All best wishes to your sister.
