Has any independent trials/ studies been done on the above product to compare its viability with similar products

We have roses around the front of our house and the wisdom is that the ground develops "Rose sickness" making it difficult to replace roses which are past their best. Flushed with success we replaced another 2 a couple of years later and they also survived. Not a scientific study but enough to prove to us that it was worth trying again if the need arises.
