Gness - sorry to interrupt your post - but this is for TonyAV -

Tony I had a pop up tree sorta near my telephone - additional lights were put on to tree - don't ask me but when I took tree down - 1571 doesn't work and also I have flashing light for deaf and it is flashing when I dial a number which never before. It only flashed on an incoming call. Any ideas.

No I'm afraid that I have no idea why your phone is doing that.
Have you tried unplugging your phone for a few minutes and then plug it back in, maybe a reboot will reset it.
