Some of the visitors to the Tower of London have decided that it isn’t child friendly because its history is just too gruesome. Others visiting Mount Snowdon have complained that it’s too steep, that it doesn’t offer wheelchair access, and one suggested that the paths be concreted to offer easier access. It’s a friggin’ mountain for goodness sake!

Should we whitewash history and concrete over mountains to suit the precious - or should we tell them to put a sock in it and get a life?

Well kind Arther is a legend from the 5th century, Wales wasn't Wales then so Snowdon was considered just part of Britain not specifically Wales.
King Arthur **

The Builder at 13.43. Ouch!
"Times yesterday - widely praised today in the letters column
David aaronovitch - used the amsterdam versetz museum and the trial of Ivan Demdjandjuk as incontrovertible proof that the British would have collaborated ( plus add a little anne frank) in the evenet of a british defeat in 1940 "

Isn't that Revisionism ? but maybe the right type of Revisionism.

;o)
Builder your sense of humour always enjoyed.
You know the guff: "the Press just gives the people what they ask for".... the Press just follows, not Leads.

Right ?
Cemeteries are too miserable, and need rides for the kiddies, a few souvenir stalls and a cafe.
Perhaps a 'Ghost Train' would do the trick, Theland?

I remember some of my History classes asking why History was horrible sometimes. The questioners were inevitably nice little girls, but the other half of the form (boys) lapped up the gruesome bits. 'Sorry, I can't change facts to suit sensibilities' was my usual response. The other, general, one was that you can't study the Arts in any form and be mealy-minded. I think that this is what is happening, and it won't 'do'.
Oh yes! A Ghost Train! Wow!
Selfies with the tombstones!
Could be a big money spinner.
All we need is sponsor, Theland and a nice, big, deserted graveyard! I can see it now - my fund-raising worries are over ! :)
The Labour Party Conference will be a bit of a graveyard. Maybe Boris for a sponsor?
And second rate celebrities, Jermy Corbyn and Prince Andrew.
:) :) :) x
