"Loctite Glass Bond" is a superglue that cures in UV light (normal daylight will do it). It sticks glass to glass and glass to metals and is clear. It comes in a tiny tube, but you'd only need a teensy dab in the corner of each piece.
pva dries clear, which may do to fill the 'grout' bit

pva ? what is it ?
pva is a type of glue that is very good for kids as its totally safe.comes in bottles and is white when wet, clear whn dry

its isn't waterproof though

get it from art shops
You can get a waterproof pva but it is slow to dry and is better with non porus surfaces. hot glue gun is very suitable for glass mosiacs then grout this is what i use for tea lights and also larger pieces.
