Is This A Virus?

Hi I was visiting a Facebook personal page, and after a few minutes I received a message from the page it was something like "Dear Adel please let us know how we could help". I suppose it's a virus. What will happen now that I opened it? Is it a virus at all? Because when my family members visited the page from their account minutes later they didn't receive this message from this page..Can the manager of the page also see that their page sent me this message or was it them?

It was a simple dm just like any I,'d receive from my friends. Just with this text..
No, this is a facebook page of a theatre actor.
