My brother and I are quite close, but never demonstrative or use the L word and see one another now and then when we can,usually when SIL is away, due to his wife's possesiveness. Anyway, that is old history. He was admitted into hospital yesterday for a sigmoid resection and after a couple of glasses of wine I sent a message and said " try to sleep well, I love you ". Now I feel a but embarrassed.........

Just to keep you updated. My brother's surgery went well, the surgeon is pleased. He is comfortable, according to SIL , but doesn't want any visitors yet. Apparently he will be there for a week. Not a pleasant op. ( well none of them are ).
