I was watching a Wild Life program on TV earlier today, some of the animals and bird that have been migrateing to northern hemisphere countries for centuries have changed their routine recently and they've desided to stay, they're not returning to their homeland. According to the program the reason is that they have all they need without fighting for it. Could it be climate change?

I wish the Canada geese would stop migrating here to breed - they don't half make a mess!
Could be, but it's also in part due to some of these species gradually adapting and expanding habitat. The UK for example has a number of species that have colonised especially in the southern counties. Golden Orioles in Sussex, and increasing numbers of spoonfuls and the larger egrets. At the same time we are at risk of losing our cool climate specialists. Ptarmigan and others. Global warming I think must be blamed for a lot of this but maybe not all
Probably worried they wouldn't be let in after Brexit.
I didn't know we had orioles down my neck of the woods. I've seen a few spoonbills years ago in Pett (near Hastings) back in the 80s & 90s and we always used to have a pair of flamingo who visited Pett annually around the same time.
Probably. Species that adapt to change, survive.
Yes, climate change and global warming can change the behavior of many species, I would say.
Species habitually following food and weather north to breed are now going further north. Species usually going further south to winter are no longer going as far south. The Stable Genius & Co insist there is no such thing as climate change so the reason for all the changes must be something else.

Separately, which is home ? Is it where you have and raise your family or is it where you gather food when on your own ?
I firmly believe it's climate change.
