Saturday Evening Imbibing

Do you tend to have a drink on a Saturday night even if you don’t the rest of the week? Or doesn’t it make any difference to you that it’s saturday?
We’ve just had a Dark & Stormy each, and now sharing a bottle of wine.
I don’t get it when people say ‘I never drink at home on my own’...why not? I often do during the week as my other half tries to limit themselves to the weekend and I don’t.

Yeah I/we drink on a Saturday evening. Not started yet but going out to visit friends soon and lots of imbibing to be done!

I have wine and beer in. I usually always do. I don't drink so much these days. I was quite ill in the summer and couldn't drink alcohol with some of the medication I was taking. I just didn't start again.

I was quite surprised at how quickly our bodies adjust. I could have drank a bottle of wine and feel completely normal. A few months off it someone bought me a Pink Gin and I felt half cut!! (just one shot of Pink Gin, Not a bottle)

No... i work 7 days on and off, usually, so one evening is the same as another. I was tee-total for about 22 years, and rarely drink now, but if I do, one is plenty.

A drop doesn't pass my lips from Sunday to Thursday, and sometimes Friday.

However, on a Saturday evening, I really hose the beer down - an excellent full-on binge drink.

I only ever drink beer though - specifically 'Disco ***' lager, i.e, the 4% stuff. I don't drink wine and I positively dislike spirits.

I do, later , watching Strictly, got a bottle of Grey Goose vodka last week for my birthday , very smooth but OH says I ‘kill’ it with diet coke , pfft! What does he know ;0)

The only thing I wouldn't drink is mouthwash and Poteen.

I always have a drink on Saturday evening, usually white wine and as Christmas draws near, I like to drink Baileys Irish cream too ..

hereIam - visit the Baileys website. They often have taster offers. Free. It comes in a tiny tiny Baileys bottle. I ordered a mint one. It's been a while but a taster order was restricted to two per household....but, I's free :-)
