Hi Sparkly, Just wondering what you do with your chestnuts.(seriously no innuendo)
I have been trying to recreate the ones we used to buy off the barrow boys in London years ago.
My system these days is to cut cross through skin without it cutting too deep and placing them, very precariously on open fire on fire shovel.
Any other ideas or tips ?

I just boil them for about 20 mins. Makes the skin soft and easy tp peel.
