Sinus Wash
30 Answers
I think that's what it's called. Had one about 30yrs ago at the hospital but was wondering if you needed one now, do they do it at the GP's surgery or can you do it yourself? If you can do it yourself, what would I need to buy?

I'd had an operation previously on my right nostril and when they put the tube up my nose for the wash out, he must have disturbed something and it started to bleed quite badly. so it couldn't be done. I'll never forget the look on the other patients faces in the waiting room when I came out with a big wad of gauze held to my nose, full of blood.
Sqad, first of all, I'm not a man, and secondly I did not say I wanted to repeat the procedure I had 30 yrs ago. I said I had what I thought was a sinus wash, but I can't remember the reason I had it. What I'm looking for is hopefully something that will clear out my nasal passages to make me feel better and I will try this method first before seeing my GP. Hopefully the problem I have isn't the same as the problem I had which required an operation.
