Hello everyone! This is our new monthly thread - the last one will stop showing in LP tomorrow, but is here if you want to look back -

https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Sport/Football/Question1670784.html

I'll repeat the most important info from there now -

The Premier League restarts on Sat 14th September @ 12:30. Until that date & time, you're allowed *unlimited* transfers - they *don't* come out of your season's allowance of 40. You're still bound by the £100m spending limit, obviously.

I juggled a few players around & am hoping for better results from now, though I wouldn't be too surprised if the players moved out now start getting points & those that are now in hit a run of bad form. Heigh-ho...

The coming weekend's (Game Week 6) schedule is -

Saturday 14th - 7 matches, 1st kick-off 12:30
Sunday 15th - 3 matches, 1st kick-off 2:00

As usual, I'll post more reminders through the coming month.

I hope everyone has a good weekend - be well, all :-)

Well done, Mamya. No, really, I'm so pleased for you. Honestly, I am. Mwah x

We get carried away with coaches and coaching. I have my coaching badges but they came out of a cornflakes packet

Harry Redknapp
Hmmmm.
Question Author
Well, quite...
Hmmmm Cornflakes, I agree with you both.

A pleasure as always.
As for the name changes its not so much what they're now called but a bit like for eg. changing a horses name halfway through the grand National.

Sun 6th - 4 matches, 1st kick-off 2:00

Evening bump of the info in the post above ^
Cattle prod on stand-by. They've got to start pulling their weight now or else its zapping time! even or after the International break.

Morning all - reminder that today's 1st kick-off is at 12:30
Question Author
Afternoon everyone - a reminder that today's 1st kick-off is at 2:00.

In case anyone has him in their team & is unaware of the injury he sustained yesterday, it might be an idea to transfer out Hugo Lloris (Goalkeeper) for the foreseeable future. If you leave him in for today, you won't even get appearance points.
Thank you, nasty injury, poor chap - I have done a transfer.
Question Author
Glad you saw the info Mamya - dislocated elbow, out for several months, nasty indeed.
L-I-K; even if he wasn't injured he wouldn't get any appearance points today. He played yesterday:-))
Question Author
Ok Ken, thanks! I meant another keeper (playing today) *would* get appearance points - my bad, apologies.
No apology needed, LIK, i can tell you're not quite awake yet from your avatar:-) :-)
Question Author
Last reminder for the day - kick-off in 10 mins...
All done for what good it'll do me, I'm going to wait until after the Internationals and take another proper look at my teams who (On paper) should be raking in the points, but alas they're in my teams so under-performing is to be expected.
