Cheapest gas provider?

I have visited uswitch.co.uk and other similar websites but as I have moved into a new property I can't possibly tell what my previous bills would have been. I used to live in a property where the bills were included in the rent. Anyone know who I should choose??

sair, I changed from British Gas to Npower.... with all the increases. I am no better off. Avoid the salesmen at the door, thats all I can say! x

I have the same problem as I am in a new rented property. What I am going to do is wait for the first quarter bills and then use uswitch based with the information from the first quarter.
