Indeed it didn't, and if I read you right, you think that such action was wrong - which it is - but that does contradict your assertion earlier in the thread that such action should be the norm.
ClarionSt. I was not saying that your allegation was not correct, but the facts as stated certainly justified an official complaint for neglect of duty, which you obviously haven't done.
Dave. I followed it up with two phone calls to the Police to enquire if there was any progress. The option to complain was there, for sure, but having discussed it with my family (at some length, I might add), I decided to leave it.
It seems to me that people think the only way to get the police to do their job, is to make an official complaint.
