Been Blackpool today. Don't think that I have ever driven in such 'wet' conditions. Driving up the M6 from Stoke, couldn't hardly see where I was going. Slowed down to 40 mph for some of it, absolutely torrential (plus spray I suppose). Cleared up on arrival for a couple of hours then slashed down for the rest of the day. Im still drying my clothes out...

(Checked the weather forecast before leaving home for Blackpool...said that there were showers in the morning, brightening up in the afternoon! Yeah right...)

Is it the Illuminations at the moment? We holidayed in Blackpool when I was little. I loved it. Very different now, I expect.

I was really windy over here in Norfolk. A few showers In between very bright sunshine most of the day. Good enough to get the washing out, but with a mad dash to grab it in before the deluge.

Landed this afternoon to 13c and utter gloom.
