How do you go about selling personal artwork, as in art that I myself have personally drawn/painted/etc.
Thanks,
Faith

There are lots of different avenues you could take... local arts and crafts markets, independent galleries that will host artist's work, pubs or cafes that may agree to exhibit and sell your work, or of course a website - ideally you should have a specific site yourself but also feature your work for sale on ebay - have you checked out the original art on ebay? It is a very popular selling category.
You need to hustle a little, and get your ear to the ground in terms of galleries and exhibition spaces locally and nationally.. It helps to network with other local artists or students etc who are involved in the art scene too. Good luck!
Yes ..put it on e bay but prepare to starve ! I got nowhere but I think you need to be very organised.
our city library regularly has exhibitions of art by local art groups which are available for sale. maybe you could ask at your main library see if they have anything similar, or advise you on other ideas.
As an artist myself, I can recommend a great site for selling your art, your own personal website. check mine out http://www.metalartist.co.uk/ and yours can be similar for very little cost, starting from 20.00 whilst mine is mostly Runes at present, I am about to start putting my other metal art on there. Make contact through my website, the guy is very helpful, mention my name to him I am known to him as the: metalartist. he really is a great guy and will be a great asset to you as he has been to me.
