More than one member of my family has been diagnosed with hepatitis C. My brother will begin treatment with interferon very soon. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Hepatitis C. With a ittle research on the web, I have noticed other treatments including colloidal silver, which are not recognized by main stream medicine. Does anybody have any experience with any of these alterative treatments? I would be interested to hear different opinions. Thanks.

interferon treatment is in the main the most effective treatment for hepatitis.
the problem with certain "alternative" therapies is that many of them interact or are processed through the liver (which is already damaged due to Hep)
i would take the advice of the hepatology team and go with interferon
