Lovely Sunny Day Here Today.

Had a family BBQ, SIL and 3 eldest grandchildren came. Had a great time.
Daughter is in Croatia with the twins. SIL and middle Granddaughter joining them on Friday.
As usual I cooked too much. They went home with 8 boxes of assorted food. I've got enough for another meal tomorrow.
Had a really nice evening. No rain at all today, nice and sunny but got a bit nippy about 9 00 pm. So had to come in.

Lovely.
Sunny but very windy down here. Had to shut all the doors as the conservatory roof was threatening to blow off.

V quiet but relaxing day here. Hubby spent half working
In his office and half watching sport(he deserves the rest) and newly moved home teen Smow pottered about chatting to friends and on his laptop. I did some work, then lunch and dinner, and then sat outside with a book and a chilled glass of wine for an hour. Teen Smow thought I was mad and said it wasn’t warm enough but I thought it was just fine. I like to be outside in the fresh air wherever humanely possible lol.

Quite right smow. Me too. I was in the Visitor Centre on the canal yesterday. It was lovely. Lots of lovely people came in. When I took my mate home his wife had a lovely dinner ready for us. Always a pleasure.

A lot of paperwork to do today. But at my club this evening. Something to look forward to.
