Deleting Items In Ab Search Box

if i click on the edge of the ab search box i get a list of my previous searches. Shift delete will delete a highlighted item. Is there a way to delete all searches in one go?

that doesn't delete the searches below the ab search box

Unsure what is keeping them.

Have you tried deleting the AB cookie ? If that doesn't work it'll be either browser or device O/S related

i clear my browser history and cookies regularly but these searches in search boxes remain and i have to delete them manually one at a time, which i find tedious :-)
