Wind Blowing Down CH Boiler Flue Problem

I have a Vokera 20-80 RS Flowmatic boiler.

The powered flue has been put in quite an exposed position such that when the wind blows directly into the flue, the boiler will not ignite. (I guess the wind pressure is preventing the 'flue flow detector' diaphragm from operating. )

I phone Vokera, but all they said was 'get somebody to look at it'.

Does anybody know of a windshield or similar arrangement?

Thank you

how long has it been installed, do you get it serviced if so what does your man say? If the wind exposure is as bad as you say is there not another wall to the right or left that it could be rerouted to with extensions ?

I am not familiar with your specific boiler. I have worked in the HVAC industry many years Theres several unknowns in your question. My suggestion is to ask your installer or service tech. about an induced draft motor being installed in your flue. This assemble would start a positive draft before your boiler would try to ignite. Good Luck.
No offence Puddintane but does johnjory not say that it is powered anyway - that is why I suggested relocating it !

Dear hard@ it
Yes he does say that, but why can't the power vent NOT cause a positive draft? You can install another power vent higher up, that would run as long as needed to create a positive draft, before the boiler actually starts its cycle. You can also run a power vent continually to ALWAYS keep a positive draft. Thanks hard@it for having me explain futher.
Is this boiler used for heating both your space and your hot water ?? You may have a NEGATIVE DRAFT in your house.
* could be a whole house ventilation fan
* could be a fireplace with much positive draft
* very tight house
* etc.
Try to open window in area of boiler (maybe that simple)
Hey Puddeentane I did say no offence and it is AB, we are all in this together. Tthe biggest thing in this is we do not know the extent of exposure or the physical layout. So as not to give you any problem I will back off.

Apologies should read Puddintane.
