ive got a casio eexilim EX-Z55 digital camera that worked fine with my sisters 256mb memory card which she recently took back. I bought a kingston technologies sd 512mb card to replace it only now when i plug the camera in through usb my computer if the memory card is in the camera no pictures are detected, if the memory card is removed tho the laptop does detect the pictures stored on the cameras own inbuilt memory.

Anyone know why this is happening and how i can solve the problem?

Have you formatted the card in your camera that may solve the problem?

Other than that i'm not sure whats going on here the best advice i can give you is to buy a card reader that will plug into your usb port then you just put the card into that and download to your pc that way.

I checked the kingston site and your camera is definitely supported could you get your sisters card back to check that your camera has not malfunctioned since the swap?
