Bt Plc Bill Query?

My husband had bill for £186.00, from BT plc.on his bank statement. Usually get bill by post. He is confused by this. Any idea please?

We can make guesses as to what happened but he really should speak to BT who will know what has happened.

The Bill may have gone walkabout in the post. Can he not log into his BT account on line and see it there, it will have a full breakdown. Failing that it will be a phone call.

Does it sound like the amount you usually pay? Check with them as hc4361 says. Maybe you just paid and forgot about it.

Yes by direct debit, jno. It's not usually that much. He is trying to.get thru to customer services.

best thing to do, I think. Most likely scenario is the bill was lost in the post, but you need to make sure someone hasn't scammed the bank.

Thanks all. Husband spoke to someone at BT. They are sending out itemized bill to see where we are going wrong! They are sorting out a better deal for us. Just a shock, as usually not that much.

It could be advanced line rental. I have that with Plusnet. I pay a years line rental in advance (at a lower rate) then just pay monthly for the calls used>
