Mazda Mx-5 - Hard Top

Hi Guys I've just bought a Mazda Mx-5. (1996), which I'm totally in love with, but the soft top isn't in prisitine condition. Consequently, I'm considering buying a hard top. How much should I expect to pay for this? Someone said I could pick one up for circa �500, but the places I've found on Google are quoting around �1000 .... can somebody in the know please advise. About �1000 for a good one, but they are definitely worth it for the winter.
