most small cars have a very similar boot size. what sort or pram have you got? can you take the wheels off? will it change to a pushchair soon or do you only have the carrycot option?
new baby new pram nappies toys food ect you will need a transit van
hello jenarry,
we had the same problem, our pram fitted half in the boot and half on the back seat- and no where to put the shopping. We had a lovely seat ibiza then, now we have a vauxhall astra (new model) and it fits perfectly. But we've also bought stroller for popping to the shops its much lighter so better for the hot summer days anyway, when you pick your first pram you don't really think about having to take it to bits to put in the car, or how heavy it is, or how wide it is, or if the pattern/style will still be fashionable 1 or 2 years later, or if its easy to clean. I loved my first pram when I first bought it 2 years ago and now I HATE it!
oops- sorry a little rant about choosing prams!

Its very sad but you must sacrifice your nippy little corsa and look to buying the dreaded FAMILY CAR- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
mondeos, astras, vectras, passats etc
Happy hunting!

We had a citroen Saxo and it was big enough to fit a tandem (front and back) buggy in.
We have a citroen Belingo multispace and my pram fits in the boot unfolded, with loads of room for shopping!!! Sorry this isn't much help. If you are planning another child, maybe you will just have to buy a bigger car. If you arnt planning another I would just struggle for a bit longer and invest in a smaller buggy when baby is about 6 months.

very funny crete. actually my boyfriends car's BIG,he's got an old landrover but still impractical. it's too bumpy and there's no seatbelts!!! the pram changes into a puschair but still will be as big and need to change car anyways for other reasons so sounds like gonna have to join the family car brigade...OH NOOOOO! this is gonna be hard!
We just had no 2 - double bugg time - tried for a small one and still hard to get it into a mondeo size boot! has to go diagonally!
Should have siad, could fit the single puschair (Uban detour, Mothercare) into the boot of my Metro....
A sling! Not only easy to fit in a car but also beneficial for babies health and development.
I'm not talking one of those hight street contraptions though, they do your back in. I'm talking pouches, wraps, ring slings or mei tais. It can get addictive with different slings for different outfits. You can even feed and walk so you can carrying on shopping! I can lay my son in his car seat (in the car, only place they should be used as they can be harmful if overused) still in his pouch and not wake him up.

This would be agood place to start http://www.thebabywearer.com/

For a first sling I reckon a Coorie by Brightspark Slings would be good.
i had a vauxhall tigra if you like the corsa you will like this the only downfall is the 3 doors but the boot is massive!!
