I thought it was awful too! Terrible unbelievable script and acting woeful. I usually get really upset at poignant scenes but not at this! Was just glad that they didn't kill off Ali.

Same with Emmerdale with the choc factory packing room they all have to wear hats and gowns but every one going to the office walks straight through even stopping to talk .

Even if the paramedics knew she was dying surely they would have had some lines put in to her? Making her more comfortable? And surely Kate would never have been allowed in without any protection on.
