As above, but if you have any problems with it, pop into the post office and they will help with the traditional method. We did that last Monday and the new ones arrived today, one week to the day. Excellent service.

The online service is brilliant, easy and quick. I fail to understand why anyone pays for the Post Office check version.

But you still have to send/post your old passport back (you can't do that on line).
