Tried it when the first episode was aired and i just couldn't get to grips with it. I didn't know if it was meant to be a serious look at the end of slavery or a light-hearted drama. I lasted about 30 - 35 mins before, rightly or wrongly, giving up on it.

I watched the final episode tonight. What a story! Superb! It's one of those that will stay with me. But now I want to know Emily’s story. Anyone else?
