Henry.
Yup, priced at around 85, Henry (the Red one) is a great little vacum cleaner, and he has a little Blue wet & dry brother (Charles) who has a larger capacity and is equally as good, at around 110. If you need a 3-in-1 there's also a Green brother called George, but he's a bit over your budget. They're all virtually indestructible - check 'em out at the manufacturers website here - http://www.chemiclean.co.uk/Numatic1.htm or order online through Comet here -http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/387834.htm

I'll second the Henry suggestion.

Lovely and cute to look at -easy to handle and no need for bags if you don't want them.

I washed mine out frequently to get rid of the dusty smell.

Unfortunately I have this need for change and gave mine away to one of the kids when they went to uni -and none of the replacements match up.

I asked this question a while ago on AB, and Henry was highly recommended. I subsequently bought one, and have to say it's very good indeed.

We've recently had a lot of building work done, and the builders, plumbers and floor sanding man all brought a Henry with them, so that is probably a good indication of it's abilities, considering the amount of mess they all made!
