this is odd - I've somehow managed to put on about a stone (dammit!) in the last 8 months, and so joined a sports club 3 weeks ago and have been religiously flinging myself around various sports halls 4 times a week, sweating buckets and looking fabulous! My question is - why do I still weigh the same? I know I'm thinnner, as I can get back into my jeans again. What's going on?

You have replaced fat with muscle.

Muscle weighs a lot heavier than fat so it takes up a lot less space.

If your club has one - start using the body fat monitor - this will show the per centage of body fat. Over time you will see it reduce, even if your weight doesn't.

Well done!

yea, i agree. Do not weight yourself, measure yourself. Then you will see the diference.
Yep as above, weight is irrelevant, fat percentage is what counts.
