Trivial Pursuits. The Rules.
29 Answers
When, if playing Trivial Pursuits, you go first and get the answer right, do you just carry on answering until you get an answer wrong?
We played last night and one of the gang insisted that you only answer one question and then pass the dice to the left. We could not find a definitive answer in the rules.

science questions are not very good - a bit like university challenge. It becomes obvious that the science questions are set by mediaeval French historians and they dont QUITE get things like relativity or quantum theory
you know like - what is to the left and one down from Scandium in the periodic table .....or
confusing atomic number and atomic weight
oh Paxo talked about molecules of sodium bicarb
oops sorry - it is crystalline and doesnt go round in molecules ....

There is no definition of "game" which doesn't assume rules.
If you're playing a game, but ignoring the rules, then you're not actually "playing" that game, are you? You're doing something different.
One such different thing might be Tilly's version of Trivial Pursuit. And good luck to you and yours, Tilly.
Other examples of those "different" things (jeux sans frontières?) might be Mornington Crescent and "analyse and explain" conversations with Peter Pedant.
