Chance In A Million ?

For amusement only.

Although it's football, I'm filing it under CB because it's the "odds of it happening" which I'm highlighting. What are the chances of the following all coming together ?

1. A goalkeeper's clearance rebounding off an attacking player into the goal - quite rare
2. A dog obstructing the ball and diverting it away from goal - extremely rare
3. A camera being there to film it - not too commonplace

The chance therefore must be at least one in a million I would have thought. (Perhaps one of our racing betting fraternity can quote a figure). It is also an example of Media Headline Exaggeration because the dog obviously had no intention in its action, merely a coincidence.

Anyway, have a look and laugh.

Groan.....
Well done lovely doggie - reminds me of a dog I once had.
Was that George MansBestfriend?
I think odds for such a double occurrence (cameras everywhere, these days) would be incalculable but, i suppose if you were wagering enough money, you might persuade one of the 'firms' to give you a price.
As for the video. Wouldn't it be sweet if we were to discover the owner of the dog to be a fan of the side who were denied the goal :-)
