Canada Fly Drive

Does Canada (British Columbia) have a good choice of motels to stop at without booking? We've done a few tours of the US and just find somewhere to stop when we're done with driving and hope to do the same thing in Canada but realise it's a bit more wild up there!

Depends which part of BC you are travelling through. If you are doing the usual touristy routes then yes, we always traveled from Calgary to Vancouver and never pre booked any accomodation. All the towns just off the highways usually have a motel and the larger towns some nicer hotels.
