Never been, but try this http://www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd/CLIMO/dfw/annual/d narrative.html If you type `dallas climate` into google (without the `s) you will find there are several more sites.

The site doesn't detail the expected temperatures in December... Dallas is fairly mild in comparison to other parts of the U.S. for the winter months. However, when a cold front blows through it will be quite windy (gusting to 30 or even 40 mph) and the temps can drop to low 30'sF. It will warm in the day time quite quickly after the frontal movement. Winds are predominantly out of the south but do shift to north or northwest with frontal activity. Little precipitaiton... if there is it light, misting rain. Snow is rare... Changeable is the key word... (Don't miss the Nieman-Marcus Christmas display!)

Thanks for that Clanad. If the Neiman Marcus display is anything like SanFrancisco, then it should be pretty good.
From the info I'm getting back,it looks like a fairly mild to fairly chilly month.
