Is it the case that leaving the EU without a deal will effect a saving to the UK of £39 billions.? Tidy little sum to help businesses survive.

I'm all for a No Deal and have the world as our market place.

Hans.
I'm sure the "39 billion" would not go to help businesses survive

Surely it would go to the NHS like the bus said?
All parties were united in saying leaving the EU ment leaving the customs union and single market.

There was no ambiguity. No half in half out.

It is once again remained a who think this dog's dinner is right. Altho ugh the half way intelligent ones do realise this and will push for a vote to rwmain
A no-deal exit will mean having to renegotiate a huge number of trade deals with other countries. All of whom will know that we desperately need them.

I'm not sure the consequences of that quite align with the 'sovereignty' promised by Vote Leave two years ago.
Ann Widdecombe says the banks will crash after brexit.

Spend spend spend or cash out.
Spath, God knows how many times it's been said, but the bus didn't say that.
that's what people took from it though :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Are you happy with the situation Naomi?
"lets fund our NHS instead" of spending money on the EU... OK, lets start with this 39 billion we're apparently saving.
//Are you happy with the situation Naomi? //

I think you know the answer to that, spath.
'Mr Grayling told ITV's Good Morning Britain that Vote Leave had only ever suggested spending £100 million a week on the NHS.

He insisted: "The specific proposal by the Vote Leave campaign was in fact to spend £100 million a week of that on the NHS.  I hope that aspiration will be met."'

That's in spite of an official poster saying, "Let's give our NHS the £350 million the EU takes each week"
No, its a fudge, she said quite clearly That a No Deal would be better than a bad deal, which means she lied to the politicians and the electorate.
I’m surprised Kroc doesn’t see the obvious link between sovereignty and the ability to make trade deals. Is it because it might be a bit hard?
Krom not Kroc. That’s predictive autocorrect.

All ready taken care of in the agreement.

4/ The ability of the UK to strike trade deals around the world.
THECORBYLOON, //That's in spite of an official poster saying, "Let's give our NHS the £350 million the EU takes each week" //

A suggestion, that's all, and that should be clear to anyone with a modicum of sense because the people who organised the Leave campaign were not in a position to promise anything .... but that conversation's been done many times before
she lied to us, how is that right................
I notice that Gove has said he will not quit and has full confidence in May, as he quietly sharpens his dagger.
perhaps now is the time for a leadership change, but who would carry the torch for UK.
Gove and Fox both firmly coming behind the PM. It's a shame that I don't trust either of them, but that's probably a good sign that this deal is, after all, better than No Deal, even if it''s still awful.
The situation reminds me of that famous cartoon: "The Curate's Egg."
