Change your password?
change the password?
If youtube has such a facility, change password/username - might help.
I would change it quickly before someone else does
change your password
change all your passwords
write out 100 times I must not use public forums to give away my passwords or else I may regret it
Did you leave yourself signed in?
If you left yourself signed in AND got wherever you were signed into to remember your password then that’s bad.
If you were able to sign back in then your password won’t have changed however someone may be able to use it and may attempt to change it.
So as advised, do so yourself.
The other possibility is that what you are seeing is not what someone else has played but a list of ‘popular’ videos.
your YouTube may be part of a Google account, in which case you might like to change all your Google (Gmail etc) passwords.
We had something like this, when we checked our device usage there was a phone that wasn't ours that kept accessing both our gmail accounts and that's actually not just YouTube, that's your Google Account, so change your flipping password. Both me and my man had our Gmails compromised and it's not just your email, it's your Youtube, your cloud, your hangouts, etc etc etc, if one is compromised they all are, all of our personal messages, photos, emails, videos had been available to this person. We ended up deciding to delete everything and starting again, horrendous worry and irritation, so now we just use Gmail for hangouts and spam mail.
That is why I hate google: one password compromise and you can really be stuffed
Their email is rubbish anyway
Oh dear. I have no idea what hangouts are. I'm feeling out of touch.
It’s like FaceTime
;
:-)
It's a Personal Messenger FF, I was so panicked and seriously ticked off because there was some very private stuff on there and in the cloud that I really don't want total strangers looking through, I've never been hacked before and it left us both feeling really vulnerable and icky.
Lesson for the Day?
Do not use your password on anyone's laptop/smartphone/internet cafe unless you trust them with your life, and even then think twice.
That's the thing though SlackAlice neither of us even did, we were very careful to only use our own devices either through our home routers or via mobile signal and we still got hacked, I have no idea how though :(
