Oh, actually it is Hull, the Glasgow link is over a year old! Also, the City of Glasgow now appears as the 12th slimmest area! Maybe I will pass on the chips after all....

The first link that Tinker posted is well worth reading. A so-called expert, Dr Marc Farr, suggests that obesity problems are not helped by not eating enough brown (sic) organic bread; not visiting enough Thai restaurants; not taking exercise in a gym and not reading the right newspapers.
