I believe all replicas, especially bearing the designers name is wrong. That would be selling false goods, wouldn't it?
I could be wrong though.
Yes - it is illegal to sell replicas, fakes, call them what you will, whether in a shop, at a market / car boot or on the internet.

In A Pickle - finding eBay not liable (we are a venue only) does not exonerate the seller.

Trading Standards can and do track down these sellers and prosecute them.

eBay were recently ordered to pay �40 million costs to companies for allowing fakes to be sold on their site.

In Dudley where I live a man was prosecuted for selling fake dvds on eBay.

My firm prosecutes anybody selling fake cds whether they are an immaculate copy or not.
