Like this? - 360º

If you've a separate numeric keypad on your keyboard, hold down Alt then enter 167

°°
ALT248
I'd just paste one in from Word ̊
But there will be a keyboard shortcut
Baldric's is the right one, I didn't know it, sorry

But there will be a keyboard shortcut, or two ;o)

Thanks LiK, but yours works as well.
Yours looks better, Baldric :-)

360º - 167
360° - 248
Is there a list of those symbols and how to get them please?
Many lists available, here's one - http://rmhh.co.uk/ascii.html

By the way - Baldric, yours looks better because it's right - mine's apparently the "masculine ordinal indicator" (who knew?) :-)

Thank you Lie-in King.
And bookbinder!

To use Alt codes on a desktop PC you need to have the number lock on (as it usually is by default anyway). You then hold down the Alt key and enter the relevant number from this list using the numeric keypad (NOT the numbered keys above the letters on your keyboard). When you release the Alt key your symbol will appear:

If you're using a laptop (without a numeric keypad) you have to use the small numbers which are on some of the lettered keys, while holding down BOTH the Alt key and the Fn key simultaneously.
I must learn to type faster!
Thanks Buenchico I understood how to get them I didn't word my question correctly. What I meant was which numbers to use!
Use charmap.
