Yes, I think so, as long as none of the rest of the family ever contemplate such a move. She's the only one with any dignity, and it would be nice for Meghan to have her Mum nearby.

Her mother has conducted herself with dignity and grace. Perhaps if they are thinking of starting a family she would like her mum close. As for the rest of her charmless grabbing family they might learn from Doria on how to behave.

spath, it doesn't educate anyone. To say any sort of marriage is 'needed' is nonsense.

That's the best idea you've had today, spath.
Once again the smothering of free speech.
aog, what did you want to say that's been smothered? Go on ... just whisper it. With a bit of luck the smotherers won't notice and you'll get away with it.
It's okay AOG I can hear you ( even above Spath's hatred of pregnant women ;)
Back to the OP - yes, I would have no problem with Doria re-locating here. She seems to be a sensible, dignified lady, who understands the need for family privacy and she will not be a drain on the state as, presumably, the Royals will house her etc.. It will also be stabilising for Meghan to have her mum around during what must be a trying time as she adjusts.

The rest of the family are appalling i.m.o.p..
She seems like a really lovely lady and she was so sweet at the Royal wedding. I'm delighted that she is moving to be close to her daughter, Meghan needs some close family nearby and I wish that her horrible father and his equally horrible children would just disappear !
