My dad...from the Deep South...ate pickled pigs feet. They were ok

My mother used to try and disguise tripe by cooking it in parsley sauce and pretending it was cod, which I loved. I wasn't fooled; the smell alone told me it wasn't. Fortunately. very soon after, meat rationing was abolished, so no further problems.
