Magic Spray

Can someone tell me what that magic spray is. The one that is sprayed on hurt footballer's legs as they're rolling around in agony. It is sprayed over their thick woollen socks. It is miraculous as hurt footballers then jump up straight away without as much as a limp!

I remember the "magic sponge" as it was then. I once asked the manager why it so effective "it's not that he said it's when Mike (the physio) says "get the f up else you're dropped ya jessie"
