It has always been the case in these ‘negotiations’ though hasn’t it.

He should be saying if you don’t match our generous offers, be it on trade, collaboration or already settled migrants then we have no deal.

We should not be guaranteeing EU migrant rights when we have not even bothered to secure Expat rights.
Joint progress is what was required from the start. It became a remainer project fear issue that our plans for EU citizens here weren't clear, with total disregard fir tge EU position. Now it seems the issue with unilateral disclosure is becoming apparent to those who didn't get it immediately. Still, have to see how it pans out. Might just be the usual EU incompetence. They may extract the digit soon.

Of course it is TTT, but when have the EUSSR ever bee sensible?

I think we are taking the right approach and we shuld do that whether or not the EU do anything. Many f these people are useful to us and the 3 questions should route out those that are not. This shuld be started now so people can still feel settled in the UK and want to stay.

It also would show the EU up for what they are.
with a proviso, can we ship all the unemployed eu migrants back and all criminals...
